Review: Click

Click to Enter Click's Official Website...finally.. finally...

i got to watch Click! last week.. and oh.. first things first..

well.. i wasn't able to post anything the last few days due to some pc concerns, but all is well now.. on to the movie...

...i liked it.. like my previous post, i got to see one of my fave actresses.. Kate Beckinsale.. and of course Adam Sandler as well.... i was glued waiting for Rob Schneider to appear/do a cameo.. and alas... the sheik has arrived!! Prince habababa! (or was it habahara?..lol)

..the movie was hilarious... Adam was effective as a busy husband and father... and Ms. Beckinsale played her supportive wife role quite well.. i say quite since, apart from the "age transitions" throughout the movie, her acting prowess wasn't really on full display (prowess as in Underworld-type prowess..) here...

but i guess it wasn't necessary, in fact it was just right.. she'd smile and its already a great scene anyways...

Christopher walken was also on board and constantly bugging Mr. Sandler, he's effective too.. since his "irritating" character* at times irritated me as well.. (did u get that? i didn't too... lol)... but great acting as well.. what can i say, he's a seasoned actor.. doing movies even music videos...

* *i dont want to give away too much for those who havent watched it yet

...the other characters: David Hasselhoff, Sean Astin among and the rest also were hilarious..

as for the story, it was touching... at first twas all about the remote and lots of happy scenes... but as the movie goes on and Adam Sandler's character begins to struggle with this universal remote, this is where the movie really captures its audience... the comedy is still there but more drama ensues...

i especially love the part, Adam rewinds back to the last time he sees his father... heck i never expected such stuff from the movie... but it was great.. it defined what the movie was really showing or imparting to its audience.. and for it i appreciated the movie more...

overall.. it was a very touching movie... and its DVD version will most likely be added to my collection soon...

..for those who havent seen Click! yet, go and watch it.. it certainly "clicked" with me.. and i know it would also "click" with you...
